My relationship with creative writing is a personal one. It is more than a skill or a competence; to me, it is a gift. The human nature to imagine beyond our circumstance is a brave attempt to search for a deeper meaning in our lives. 

 

You won't find my name printed on any book cover in your local library, I'm not a brand name in my industry, and my portfolio is barren of any copywriting experience (which is becoming the only stable and profitable writing skill in today's market). For the simple reason that I don't want to hate writing, and I can't write what I don't believe in. 

 

I experience writing as a pilgrimage of human experience and conflict. As with every voyage, meaning arises from the journey-- the destination is merely denouement. Often, my audience is selective and intentional-- a loved one, a close friend, a person with shared experiences-- and my intent to write is an earnest gesture to connect; to discover the universe within the individual. That, by itself, is fulfilling.
