Destroy to feel. There are things that a bulldozer can express that words unironically can't. Davis is able to do, without shame or regret, the things that we wish we could when the chaos inside becomes suffocating. Because sometimes, it takes destroying everything to be able to let go. It takes being honest with a stranger to know yourself again.

Davis can be a phenotype to the mood that most guys bear with today. It's not comfort or love or happiness that they're looking for. It's an outlet, maybe even closure. Hard to describe-- let alone understand-- in a time of over-expectations. Those guys, they just want to put on their headphones and dance to Metallica or some gay shit, and that's all they need-- not condolences, not moral support, not sweetness-- just space to be themselves.

This is a film to watch when you just got out of the shower but still don't feel anything.
